STS Targets Manufacturer's Warranty
All products offered by STS
Targets are subject to manufacturing warranties. The guarantee of the products
is excluded if they have received, once delivered to the customer, any
deterioration due to external events, accidents or if they are damaged due to
misuse. Losses in the functionality of the products, due to the limitations of
their design, are also excluded from the coverage of this guarantee.
STS
Targets will repair or replace any faulty product, where the fault is due to
defective components or workmanship, for a period of 1 year from the date of
purchase. The invoice provided by STS Targets must be
tendered anytime a warranty claim is made.
STS
Targets reserves the right to reject warranty claims for any product where the
STS Targets’ product has been modified or altered by anyone other than an
authorised STS Targets repair technician.
STS
Targets also reserves the right to reject warranty claims for any product where
use and misuse of the product results in the STS Targets product being damaged and
these examples relate to but not limited to the following scenarios:

STS Targets’ product
damaged by bullet strikes to un-armoured surfaces;
·
Damage to strike
surfaces due to the use of Full Metal Jacket (FMJ), solid
steel, or Armour Piercing (AP) ammunition, or in instances where the impact
velocity of the projectile exceeds 2800fps; and
·
Any other practice,
usage of the STS manufactured product that is not otherwise prescribed within
the safe use of National Firearms Safety Code.
STS
Targets Returns / Refunds
The Customer has a term of fourteen (14) days to commence
forthwith from the date of delivery of the order.
In order to exercise
this right, the customer must first contact STS Targets reporting of any manufacturing
defect, confirming the purchase invoice number and obtain a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number. STS Targets will provide a delivery address
where the Customer may deliver the product in its the original packaging, and
with the total of its contents, including accessories, warranties, without
scratches, dents, blemishes, and other defects without usage.
The shipping and transport costs of the defective product for
its verification will always be borne by the Customer.
After inspection from a STS Targets accredited technician, where it has been
deemed to be a manufacturing defect, any rectification costs and logistical
costs will be borne by STS Targets.
After inspection from a STS Targets accredited
technician, where it has been determined that there is no
manufacturing defect, and that the defect is due to misuse or any of the listed
circumstances where STS Target reserves the right to reject warranty claims,
the product will be available to be returned to the customer, by a freight forwarding
company of the customer’s choice with all shipping and transport costs borne
solely by the customer. In no way unless otherwise agreed by STS
Targets, will we bear the costs of shipping the product to the customer where
it has been determined that no manufacturing defect exists.
Unless otherwise agreed
by management, if the Customer has a change of mind,
the customer is only entitled to a refund or replacement for a major problem
with a product covered by consumer guarantees.
